With over 20 years in the industry Markus and his team have worked on residential and commercial spaces. Bringing a uniqueness to places that resonate with the personality, practicality and functionality of the interior and its owner/occupier.

Markus is currently a lecturer with TafeSA (for 7 years) teaching budding new Interior Decorators and Designers both face to face classes and online.

Markus is responsible, with the respective teams, for the iconic furniture and decor stores in Adelaide – Louis Bond & BlackCherry. Now he sees the new venture lead off, The Botanic Designer, which fuses Interior with Botanic Design in a harmonic way.

Our recent work in 2022 saw a renovation project for a client of a home in Norwood SA. We turned a dated nineties interior (and exterior) into a contemporary masculine & urban pad. Paying particular to rich materials & finishes and playing with darker tones, we created a home that was condusive to the functionality and practicality of the home owner and reflected his needs and personality.

I hired Markus to redesign the interior of my entire home as well as the outdoor courtyard. His discovery process was very collaborative, taking time to understand my tastes and ideas. He then came back with strong and bold concepts which were perfectly aligned with what I was looking for. Over approximately 8 months Markus managed the entire execution of the project, all of which went smoothly and seamlessly. The outcome exceeded my expectations! I’m in love with my home and am truly grateful for Markus’ brilliant work throughout the entire process. I will certainly hire Markus again for future interior design projects.
